barcoOur goal is simple: to show you that coming to Colombia is one of the greatest experiences you will ever have. Forget about what you may or may not have heard – this country is quite simply one of the most spectacular tourist and backpacking destinations on the planet. The incredibly diverse landscapes, the beautiful people, the music, the heritage…this country has it all! As the saying goes: Colombia, the only risk is wanting to stay! We want you to make your trip as authentic as possible – we want to show you the real Colombia, how people actually live and what they get up to in their spare time. Find out how Colombians party, watch a local football match, drink chilled aguardiente on a white sand Caribbean beach and prepare your own coffee in the foothills of lush coffee plantations. We will advise you on everything you’re going to need, right down to getting a SIM card, or knowing the best places to change money, or picking up some essential Spanish phrases…

Meet your tour guide:
Márton is a 36-year-old Hungarian national who has made Colombia his home for the last five years. The adventure began while he was working for a company in Budapest: A work colleague of his – a “paisa” from Medellín based in Hungary at the time – invited him and some friends to Colombia to meet his family and discover his homeland. Uncertain at first – Colombia’s full of drugs and cartels and violence, right? – Márton took up the offer, and realized straight away that the country was nothing like its stereotype. Instead, this was a place of breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities, beautiful people and a wonderfully rich culture steeped in old colonial history. Back in Hungary, and with rather itchy feet, Márton upped sticks and set off on a six-month backpack around South America, stopping along the way at spectacular sites such as Machu Picchu, Iguazu Falls and the Tayrona National Park. However, it was during a second trip to Colombia that Márton knew, “this is where I want to be”. Five years later, the “Húngaropaisa” (as his Colombian friends call him) has made Colombia his home from home. Based in Medellín, Márton is often seen speeding around on his moto or sipping a tinto at his favorite café while planning his next excursion into unchartered territories. So come join him! And discover one of the most magical places on the planet…
